I like to think of ChatGPT as my behind-the-scenes business partner.
Today, I’m pulling back the curtain on how I use AI every day in my shop. These aren’t just ideas, they’re tried-and-true strategies that help me stay consistent, save time, and grow smarter.
Feel free to steal these for your own business!

How to Use ChatGPT for a Digital Product Business (What’s Working for Me)
Now let's take a look at some ways I'm using ChatGPT in my digital product business on a regular basis. I don’t use AI just to save time; I use it to brainstorm better, create smarter, and stay consistent in my digital product shop. Here are six real-life ways I use ChatGPT as a solopreneur that you can try today.
Use ChatGPT Like a Creative Business Partner
I don’t just treat ChatGPT like a copy machine. I talk to it like a teammate. I ask for second opinions on copy, compare different tones, and brainstorm ideas when I feel stuck.
Try this: Ask ChatGPT to rewrite your Etsy listing title in three tones: friendly, polished, and SEO-rich. Then choose the one that fits your brand voice best. Read more about how to optimize your Etsy product listings using AI.
Build Product Ecosystems, Not One-Offs
I often create low-ticket templates, then work with ChatGPT to brainstorm how to turn them into a bundle, upsell, or even a multi-tiered offer. AI helps me connect the dots between products.
Try this: Pick one product you sell. Ask ChatGPT to create a 3-tier bundle idea—like a basic printable, an editable version, and a Canva kit.
Analyze Search Trends to Inspire New Products
When I check Etsy search terms, I drop them into ChatGPT and ask what new products I could make based on those keywords. It’s like turning search data into a product development goldmine.
Here, I'm not referring to the trending search terms you might find when using keyword search tools like eRank, InsightFactory, Everbee, or Tuesday Trends. Instead, I'm referring to the actual search terms that have brought visitors to your shop. You'll find these keywords inside your Etsy shop analytics dashboard.
Try this: Grab your last 5 Etsy search terms. Ask ChatGPT for 2–3 digital product ideas per keyword.
Combine AI With Creative Tools Like Canva & Midjourney
I use Canva, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Midjourney in my workflow, and ChatGPT helps me bridge the gap between them. Whether I need Midjourney prompts, layout ideas, PowerPoint macros, or product instructions, AI fills in the blanks.
Try this: Ask ChatGPT to write a styled Midjourney prompt that matches your product theme, or draft step-by-step Canva instructions for your customers.
Launch Fast and Improve as You Go
Not everything has to be perfect before it hits my shop. (Who are we kidding? Perfection doesn't really exist, but far too often we can get stuck trying to perfect a product before we launch it.) I use ChatGPT to help outline product listings, email funnels, and launch strategies, then improve based on feedback and sales.
Try this: Ask ChatGPT to outline a 3-part email sequence for your next freebie or product drop.
Repurpose Everything With ChatGPT’s Help
Once I write a blog post, I ask ChatGPT to turn it into Instagram captions, Pinterest pin titles, YouTube descriptions, and email intros. One piece of content becomes five. This is another great repurposing tool. From time to time, you can even find a lifetime deal on it at one of my favorite spots for finding cool tools and software.
Try this: Paste in a blog or product description and ask ChatGPT to repurpose it into content for at least three other platforms.
Where Will You Use ChatGPT for Your Online Business
If you're juggling all the roles in your business, don’t do it alone. ChatGPT has helped me create consistently, brainstorm with confidence, and run smarter without burning out.
