Tuesday Trends Membership: Etsy Research Tool Alternatives for Digital Product Creators

A Time-Saving Alternative to Etsy Research Tools: Tuesday Trends Premium Review

As a creative trying to side hustle your way to additional income, you’re juggling a lot. And coming up with trending product ideas can feel like a full-time job itself. Between browsing Etsy, checking search trends, and comparing what others are selling, it's easy to lose hours every week just trying to figure out what to create next.

As creative entrepreneurs, we juggle a lot. We want to design products that are fun, meaningful, and profitable, but let’s be real: sometimes the research steals all our creative energy before we even begin.

That’s exactly why I decided to try something new, Tuesday Trends Premium, a low-cost membership that promised to spark fresh product ideas without the deep dive into trend tools every week.

So, how does it stack up against traditional Etsy research tools like eRank or InsightFactory? Let’s talk it through and see why this might be a better tool for finding what to sell on Etsy without burnout.

The Power (and Pitfalls) of Etsy Research Tools

Don’t get me wrong, tools like eRank and InsightFactory can be super valuable. In fact, I currently subscribe to InsightFactory, and I’m a past paid user of eRank. Both these tools give you keyword data, help you track trends, and even suggest tags for your listings. (See my comparison of the two tools here.) For some creators, digging into that data feels like a goldmine.

But here’s the thing: all that information can quickly lead to analysis paralysis. One tool tells you “summer bucket list” is trending, another says “patriotic gnome clipart” is on fire, and before you know it, you’re two hours deep and still haven’t made anything.

If you’re a busy solopreneur or side hustler like me, sometimes you just want someone to say: “Here are a few timely product ideas—now go create.”

That’s where Tuesday Trends comes in.

Tuesday Trends Premium is a monthly membership created by Snazzy Designs Forever. Every week, you get a fresh set of trending product ideas delivered to your inbox, with some weeks also including editable Canva templates to help you create one of the trending products faster.

It’s not just about analytics or SEO rankings; it’s about keeping your creative spark alive and giving you a head start.

I joined on a $1 trial, and here’s what I found when I logged into Tuesday Trends Membership hub, which is hosted inside ThriveCart Learn:

  • 4+ trending product ideas each week
  • A mix of seasonal and evergreen ideas
  • Occasional Canva templates to help bring those ideas to life
  • Simple explanations and visual examples

What I Loved Most

What stood out right away was how quick and low-pressure it felt. I didn’t have to go digging through dashboards or spreadsheets. Instead, I opened the email, picked an idea that aligned with my shop or content calendar, and got to work.

And I really liked that the report is delivered in a Google Docs format instead of a traditional PDF, as it makes it easy to copy and accessible from any device.

One recent week included an idea that sparked a brand-new printable I was able to mock up and list the same day. (If you’ve ever spent more time thinking than creating, you know how rare that is!)

Who It’s For (and Who It’s Not)

This membership is perfect for you if:

  • You struggle to come up with fresh product ideas
  • You love having creative prompts or content calendars
  • You’re short on time but want to stay consistent
  • You enjoy using Canva to design printables or digital products

It may not be your go-to if you:

  • Live and breathe keyword data
  • Prefer doing deep research before creating anything
  • Need templates for every single product idea (only some include templates)

Can It Replace eRank or InsightFactory?

Not entirely—and I don’t think it’s meant to.

Think of it this way:

  • eRank and InsightFactory are like having a GPS; you get detailed directions based on traffic and road conditions.
  • Tuesday Trends Premium is like having a friend in the passenger seat pointing to cool spots on the map, saying, “Ooh, let’s go there next!”

If you pair the two—using Tuesday Trends for inspiration and eRank for fine-tuning keywords, you might just find the creative flow you’ve been missing.

Or you could totally forgo the Etsy research tools and just opt for the weekly Tuesday Trends reports.

Is Tuesday Trends Just for Etsy Shop Owners?

Not at all! While Tuesday Trends pulls its data from Etsy, the largest marketplace for digital product shoppers, the insights you’ll find inside can absolutely benefit sellers across platforms like Teachers Pay Teachers, Creative Fabrica, Payhip, and even your own Shopify site.

If you’re in a dynamic niche like party printables, kids’ activities, or seasonal planners, the membership delivers fresh product ideas and keyword trends that can inspire listings no matter where you sell. It’s especially helpful if your platform uses tags or SEO to search products, since many of the strategies easily carry over.

That said, if your niche doesn’t change much, like executive coaching or evergreen B2B services, you may not find as much immediate value. But for creatives in fast-moving markets, knowing what’s trending on Etsy can give you a competitive edge, even if that’s not where you make your sales.

Is Tuesday Trends Right for You?

If you’re tired of spending more time researching than creating, or if you’ve hit a bit of a creative wall lately, I highly recommend giving Tuesday Trends Premium a try.

» TIP: Not sure if it's right for you? Try it for seven days for just $1.

Even if the $1 trial is not available, it’s worth the $9 to peek inside to see if it fits your creative workflow. For me, it’s become a light and energizing part of my weekly routine—kind of like having a creative accountability buddy who shows up with fresh ideas right when I need them. Just as I was putting the finishing touches on this post, I received an update about upcoming changes to the Tuesday Trends Membership. The revamped membership will include:

Monthly planning calls – helping you prep for the month ahead.
Voxer days every second week, where Sree can answer your questions and support you personally.
Get It Done Weeks – so you not only get the resources to create and list products, but also the community support to do so.

With these added benefits, the price of the membership will be increasing starting May 27th, but you can be grandfathered in when you join the membership before the price change. Which makes now a perfect time to test out the Tuesday Trends Premium Membership!

According to Sree, two of her members recently got the best seller badge on Etsy for their listings created using resources from the membership.

Thus, Sree's mission now is to help more members get more such wins, whether you're selling on Etsy or your own website.
